Let’s not forget about the millions of [very much alive] cells men flush out the airlock while watching porn every day. The difference is, of course, that men are exempt from sexual restrictions set forth by rich, Christian white men in order to govern the “lesser” women-folk. Yep. A rape victim with no means of supporting herself nor a child is NOT allowed to think and act for herself, but I can choke the chicken and (by ‘pro-life’ logic) commit genocide whenever I damn well please.
Cells comprise every living organism. So don’t be hypocrites, right-wingers; I better see you flip out the next time someone maliciously kills an insect. The issue shouldn’t be “cells”, it should be “cognition”. If a brain-dead person is being kept “on” with the aid of health support, that person is very much dead. Thoughts, consciousness, perception… THAT is Life. Those tiny few cells that comprise early stage embryos do not THINK. No consciousness exists, therefore it is not a person. It is a mass of shit that will eventually become a person. If a mass of shit is unwanted in a person, then that person should have every fucking RIGHT to be rid of it, for whatever fucking reason.
